In Her Own Words

Art that makes people feel seen.

As an artist, inclusivity and representation have always been deeply important to me. I believe that art should have the ability to make people feel seen, understood, and represented, regardless of their background, identity, or appearance. Throughout my artistic practice, I have always wanted to create work that reflects the diversity of the people and experiences around me. I strive to celebrate individuality and create artwork where people can recognize themselves and feel that they belong.

My journey as an artist began through drawing and painting, where I explored different subjects, styles, and techniques while developing my own artistic voice. Over time, I discovered tattooing and quickly became passionate about the way it combines creativity with personal expression. Unlike artwork that simply exists on a wall or canvas, a tattoo becomes a part of someone's body and can hold personal meaning for years to come. I found that this gave me a new and more intimate way to connect with people through my art.

Why I Tattoo

More than a Tattoo.

Tattooing has allowed me to take my commitment to representation and inclusivity even further. I want every person who sits in my chair to feel comfortable, respected, and confident that their skin will be treated with the same care and attention as anyone else's. I believe that beautiful tattoos should not be limited by skin tone, body type, or conventional ideas of what tattooing is supposed to look like. Every person deserves to see their ideas represented thoughtfully and accurately on their own skin.

For me, tattooing is more than creating an image. It is about creating something that can carry meaning, memories, identity, and personal stories. Whether a tattoo represents a significant part of someone's life, celebrates who they are, or simply gives them a way to express themselves, I value the trust that comes with creating something so personal.

My goal is to continue creating art that makes people feel seen. Through both my artwork and tattooing, I hope to create a space where individuality is celebrated, representation matters, and everyone can feel that there is a place for them in art.

Philosophy

Line first. Every piece begins as a drawing, refined until it can stand on its own — in black, before colour or shading are ever considered.
